Where does Writing Hide?

Writing Hides
In a beautiful song, running through my head
In the backyard, among the leaves on a cool autumn day.
In my mom's trailer
Or down the sink drain.
Writing hides
In my television or in my PS3
Writing can hide
In a memory of my mother
Or up my right sleeve.

...In Hopes of Making a Giant Leap

Greetings from New York! I echo Mrs. Bethune's sentiments from yesterday when I tell you how excited we are about our upcoming journey. Both of us greatly appreciate your willingness to join our project as we look to explore and better understand our inherent differences while celebrating our many similarities. Here goes!

Small Town USA

Well, Jordyn’s truck wouldn’t start today so, she was running a little bit late! Jordyn can be really random at times as you can see. She lives on a farm called the hilltop farm and ranch and also a lake called Sacks Lake. Jordyn loves to ride horses, fish, and go 4 wheeling. She likes the color pink and loves to eat steak! Josh the one in the camouflage coat loves to hunt, fish, trap, trap shoot, and play with his dog. He has a six month old German Shorthair Pointer named Magnum. He also likes to work on his truck and never stops putting money into it. Hi I’m Ben I’m the one in the red shirt smiling like an idiot. During the school year I play Football and Wrestling. My hobbies are the same as Josh’s I love to hunt, fish, trap, and trap shoot. Sara is obsessed with Tinker bell. She enjoys watching football. She also loves to bowl. Sara also loves to watch her dad move houses.

• The adrenaline of running barrels.
•The feel of each stride on my horse.
•The speck of dust laying on my cowboy hat.
•The crack in my old cowboy boots.
• Behind the coyote calls in my coat pocket.
• Under a trap pan.
• In the hole of a hollowed out cottonwood.
• My archery target.
• The corner of my locker where junk is.
• The cup holder where my iPod sits in my truck.
• The corner of my closet where my guns lean.
• The pocket my football pads go in.
• The handle on my bow.
• With the roller on the beam.
• In all the puddles they pass through.
• Between all the chain links.
• With the wood holding the house up.

Where does Writing Hide?
In the noise of a crowded mall.
In my dreams.
In the comfort of my songbook.
In the eyes of my family;
In the quiet of my room.
Writing hides like a flower under the icy snow, waiting to blossom.
In the pages of my bible.
Under the blankets of my bed.
In the smiles of the less fortunate.
Writing hides in a bold and beautiful heart.
Writing hides in the arms of a loving father.

Where does Writing Hide?
In the wandering mind of a young child.
In the dreams of a boy who wants to be like his father.
In the sound of of the wind on a clear, silent, night;
In the beat and lyrics of a favorite song.
From someone who is an inspiration.
In the everyday life of high school,
In an American flag blowing in the wind.
Hearing a golf ball hitting a freshly mowed, moist green in the morning

Where does Writing Hide?
Writing hides with all the lies that cover up the truth.
Writing hides in the spirits of the people that are in this world.
In a beutiful view.
In the peacefulness of my room.
In the teardrops of a weeping woman.
In the warm, smooth sand between my toes;
In the blisstery ice underneath my feet.

Where Writing Hides
Writing hides in the midnight sky where the grasshoppers sing;
Where the waves crash against the shore;
it runs wild through my veins, gripping tight to my emotions,
as it leaps into my pen, letting my strongest
feelings flow into words in ink.
Writing hides in the basement that one foot
doesn't step in;
writing hides in the palces that I wander;
writing hides in every light that shines
upon the world;
it makes every day a new adventure.
group members: Sade, Eric, Nina, and Ashley
Where does Writing Hide?
Writing hides in the heart of a lover
In the dust that covers the books
In the eyes of a witness
The sparkle in the stars
In the wave of a friend
In the lace of a shoe
In the inner thoughts of a complacent soul
In the melody of a song
In the petal of a flower
In the rays of the sun
In the lens of an old man's glasses
In the ink of a blue pen
Rose petals that romance the world.

Where Does Writing Hide?
In the chocolate chips of a cookie!
In the eyes of a horse.

Where does writing hide?

On the bottom of the ocean floor.
In a nightmare or a dream.
On the stripes of a clown fish.
The last drop of my Mountain Dew.
Under the shadow of a single blade of grass.
The leaf on my camouflage coat.
In famous paintings or drawings.
Floating up to the surface with all the bubbles.
On the snow covered trees.

Poems live
In the cracks of your lips in the dry winter wind.
In the space behind the stars.
They hide in the glow of the summer campfire.
In the feeling you have when you accomplish something.
They hide in the holes of my bowling ball.
They hide in the worn shoes being handed to you by the cashier.

The tears of sadness running down someone’s face like a waterfall.
Writing hides in a rusty old gear shaft.
In the shinning of a sea shells at the bottom of the ocean.
Holes of the tar on a track where the feet hit the ground.
In the roaring red crowd at the memorial stadium.
